The pot type whisky still is an essential still for producing high-end whisky. It mainly consists of a still, a gooseneck fractionator, a wine tube (Lynn's arm), a condenser, and an inspection wine vessel.

The evaporator and fractionator are made of high-purity copper plates, which not only have good thermal conductivity, but also serve as catalysts for certain esterification reactions in the original wine. They can accelerate the transformation and generation of various beneficial components in the original mash, remove unnecessary sulfur-containing compounds, and form insoluble copper salts such as butyric acid, hexanoic acid, decanoic acid, and lauric acid, thus removing these unpleasant smelling acids.

According to the composition of different brewing materials, distillation units with different parameters can be designed and selected for users. After two distillations, whiskey base liquor with a concentration of 68-75% (V/V) can be obtained. This method of producing distilled liquor can effectively separate the secondary products of distillation, facilitate the removal of undesirable components in volatile higher alcohols with rough and stimulating flavors, and make the components contained in the finished liquor rich and coordinated. The raw material aroma is rich, the liquor body is full and delicate, and the aftertaste is sweet and long-lasting.

This equipment can be used for steam indirect heating, electric heating, or gas heating distillation. Due to its unique design principles and unparalleled distillation effects, it has become a distillation equipment that has been used to this day for high-end whiskey and other products.
